SEO strategies: the guide to rank your website

Estrategias SEO para 2025.

SEO is no longer about repeating keywords and waiting. It is about Google (and increasingly AI search) understanding that your site is the best answer to a specific intent, and about loading fast, reading well and being backed by a brand with authority. Here are the strategies that actually move rankings, no fluff.

If you would rather have a team run it, we work on it as your SEO agency. If you want to understand the terrain and execute it yourself, read on.

Technical SEO: the foundation everything is built on

Without a solid technical base, the best content will not rank. Google has to crawl, render and index your site without friction, and serve it fast.

  • Performance (Core Web Vitals): LCP under 2.5 s, INP under 200 ms and CLS under 0.1. Performance is a ranking factor and a conversion factor. We break it down in Core Web Vitals.
  • Indexing: the pages that should rank must not be blocked or set to noindex, with a correct canonical and no redirect chains. How to get Google to index you, in the indexing guide.
  • Rendering: important content must be in the served HTML, not only painted by JavaScript, or neither Google nor AI engines read it well.
  • Architecture and internal linking: a clear structure, with important pages a few clicks away and internal links with descriptive anchors.

On-page: answer the search intent

Ranking starts by understanding what the person is really after and giving them the best answer.

  • Intent before keyword: the same keyword can be informational, commercial or transactional. Align the content (and the format) with the dominant intent.
  • Smart keywords: research real terms per market, group by intent and cover the topic in depth, not just the exact keyword. More in types of keywords.
  • Titles and meta: a unique title with the keyword up front and the brand at the end; a meta description with a hook for CTR. How to optimise them in meta tags.
  • Depth, not filler: cover the search and its related questions. The page should close the intent, not be long for the sake of it.

E-E-A-T: experience and trust

Google rewards content with Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trust, and it weighs far more in sensitive topics (health, money, legal). Show who is behind the content and their track record, cite reliable sources, include real cases and your own data, and keep content up to date. Trust is the central pillar: without real signals, the page is worth little.

In 2026 a share of searches is resolved with AI (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity). To get cited, content has to be extractable: a direct answer in the first lines after each heading, self-contained blocks, your own data and figures, and readable HTML that does not depend on JavaScript. It is not a trick separate from SEO; it is solid technical SEO plus citable content plus brand authority.

Backlinks still count, but quality and relevance rule, not volume. Earn them by producing content others want to link to (guides, studies, data), collaborating with sector media and looking after internal linking. You have the guide in link building strategies. And a warning: tactics like parasite SEO are worth knowing to understand what competitors do, but the black-hat shortcut ends in a penalty.

Local SEO: proximity sells

If you have a business with a catchment area, local SEO is essential: a complete and optimised Google Business Profile, real reviews, consistent NAP (name, address, phone) across the site, and geolocated keywords. How and why, in local SEO.

Measurement: no data, no strategy

SEO is tuned with data: positions, impressions and clicks in Search Console, organic traffic and conversions in analytics, and a periodic audit that spots what is holding you back (technical, thin content, cannibalisation). Start with a full SEO audit to know where you stand before moving anything.

Conclusion

SEO that works is the sum of four things: a fast, crawlable technical base, content that answers the intent, real E-E-A-T signals and authority earned through links and brand. There are no shortcuts, but there is a method. If you want us to build it and measure it for you, as your SEO agency we analyse your case and design the strategy.
